This is to notify all persons that Caring People does not discriminate against any person because of his/her race, color, religious creed, national origin, sex, sexual orientation (which shall not include any persons whose sexual orientation involves minor children as the sex object), age, ancestry, disability, marital status or status as a recipient of public assistance in the provision of or access to services, employment and activities.

This is in accordance with all applicable federal and state law, including, but not limited to section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, the Americans with Disabilities Act, as amended, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, Article 114 of the Massachusetts Constitution, Chapters 151B and 272, sections 92, 98, and 98A of the Massachusetts General Laws and Executive Orders 227, 246, and 253.

NONDISCRIMINATION STATEMENT

 

Caring People Home Care does not discriminate against any person in admission, treatment, participation in programs or services, on the grounds of race, age, color, national origin, or disability, whether carried out by Caring People directly or through a contractor or any other entity with which Caring People arranges to carry out its programs and activities.

This statement is in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and Regulations of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Issued pursuant to these statutes at Title 45 Code of Federal Regulations Parts 80, 84, and 91.

Other agency guidelines prohibit discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation/preference, gender identity, ancestry and religion. The same protection is extended for employment.
